Technology Transfer & Industry Collaboration

Finding new solutions for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases and developing new care concepts for patients with such diseases is the goal of the research at the DZNE. This goal can only be achieved by translating research results into products for the benefit of patients and society. For this purpose, we cooperate with academic and company partners and/or license our technologies to companies or spin-offs.

The Technology Transfer Office (TTO) assists with all activities along the value chain ranging from the support of industry collaborations, negotiation of agreements for research activities to the commercialization of patents, research results, material and know-how generated at DZNE. For some aspects, DZNE collaborates with Ascenion GmbH, Munich.
