Paper Prize 2022 of the Hans und Ilse Breuer Foundation
For the second time, the Hans and Ilse Breuer Foundation is awarding a special prize to excellent young researchers (doctoral or post-doctoral) for outstanding publications in the research field of dementia.
Scientists from all DZNE sites are eligible
The prize is endowed with 5,000 EUR for the private use of the award winner. The second-place winner receives EUR 4,000, the third-place winner EUR 3,000, the fourth-place winner EUR 2,000 and the fifth-place winner EUR 1,000. Scientists who are part of a research team at one of the ten DZNE sites can apply.
Each paper work published between July 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021 is taken into account. In the case of shared authorship, a declaration of consent from the non-submitting author(s) must be enclosed.
Winners to be announced at the Eibsee Meeting
The award winner is selected by a jury of international scientists who are not members of the DZNE. In January, a shortlist of five candidates will be created from the total of the submitted publications. The award winner will be announced and awarded on the occasion of the 20th Eibsee meeting (March 23 to 25, 2022).
