Support for a good work life balance
The DZNE offers a range of programs aimed at helping its employees achieve a good work life balance.
In December 2018, the DZNE was certified for its family-oriented company policy, in the "beruf und familie" audit framework. Since then, we have continued to establish and implement suitable instruments and measures that promote a good "work life balance." Among these are the "parent-child" rooms that parents at our Bonn and Tübingen sites, can use when their daytime childcare suddenly becomes unavailable.
In addition, the DZNE facilitates employees access to the social service pme Familienservice, a professional point of contact with regard to issues such as home care and senior care (nursing care for family members), childcare and life coaching. As a result, our employees always have access to a resource they can contact confidentially whenever their professional or private lives present daunting new challenges.
Furthermore, our working time models offer additional flexibility to reconcile private and professional interests. These include, for example, flexible working hours and telework options as well as part-time and mobile working. Our working time models are tailored to the different areas with their respective needs in order to support our employees in all areas in combining their professional and private lives in the best possible way.
