Research Focus Human Imaging
The Human Imaging Unit at the DZNE aims to answer clinically motivated questions of clinical neuroimaging with state-of-the-art imaging technology and advanced data analysis. MRI sequences (magnetic resonance imaging) tailored to specific questions, developed by MR Physics, are complemented by cutting-edge analyses using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in medical imaging. This integrated approach enables comprehensive insights into disease and healthy ageing of the central nervous system. The aim of the Human Imaging Unit is to expand interdisciplinary research and technological progress in the field of neuroimaging.
The research focus Human Imaging covers the entire spectrum of MRI scanners from 64mT to 7T (Tesla), UltraLow2Ultra High.
