It was shown for the first time that support from the social environment influences the life expectancy of people with dementia – beyond clinical factors.

Collaborative Dementia Care Management improved patient-, caregiver-, and health system-related outcomes over a three-year period.

A multi-site German multimodal dementia prevention study showed no positive effects on cognition, but did show improvements in quality of life in the intervention group.
