At the beginning of 2024, the Research Group for Patient-Reported Outcomes & Health Economics Research was established at the DZNE. Since then, I have been part of the interdisciplinary team as a postdoctoral researcher. My focus is mainly on health economic analyses, which include both primary data („Low-value Medications“ Link zur Publikation: alz-journals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/alz.13012) and routine data from statutory health insurances („RegioDem“ Link zum Projekt: www.dzne.de/forschung/studien/projekte-der-versorgungsforschung/regiodem/) to study the current care situation and burden of neurodegenerative diseases. Additionally, I analyze the cost-effectiveness of innovative interventions and their implementation into routine care („DCM:IMPact“ Link zum Projekt: www.dzne.de/forschung/studien/projekte-der-versorgungsforschung/dcmimpact/). Previously, I was a doctoral researcher in the DZNE's Translational Health Care Research group and hold a Master's degree in Health Care Management as well as a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Public Law.

I am originally from Indonesia and hold both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Greifswald. Prior to studying in Germany, I completed a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design in Singapore. I have a strong passion for learning and discovering new things, which helps me better understand myself and others. Since April 2024, I have been working with the Patient-reported Outcomes & Health Economics Research Team, focusing on health-related quality of life and its influencing factors in rare ataxia disorders (Link to the projects: „PROFA“ https://www.dzne.de/forschung/studien/klinische-studien/profa/ ; „EUROSCA“ https://www.dzne.de/forschung/studien/klinische-studien/sca-registry/ ; „ESMI“ https://www.dzne.de/forschung/studien/klinische-studien/esmi/). In my free time, I enjoy playing computer games with friends, watching my dwarf shrimp tank, or taking walks in the forest.

As a health scientist, I am deeply engaged in perceived health and thus delve into the field of quality-of-life research. I am particularly interested in the question of how self-reported and proxy-reported health (e.g., a caregiver’s view) can be measured. I analyze the performance of health-related quality of life measures (questionnaires) to evaluate their suitability for specific target groups (e.g., ataxia, dementia). My expertise also extends to advanced nursing roles, where I contribute to the training of academically qualified nursing professionals. I have been a postdoc member of the Patient-Reported Outcomes & Health Economics Research working group since early 2024. In my free time, I stay active, either on foot (my favorite running distance is 5 to 10 km) or on horseback.

In August 2024 I joined the DZNE in Greifswald as a PhD student. The main focus of my work are analyses of the cost of dementia in the course of the disease ( www.dzne.de/en/research/studies/clinical-studies/delcode/ ) and regional variance in patient care for people with dementia (https://www.dzne.de/forschung/studien/projekte-der-versorgungsforschung/regiodem/). Previously, I did my Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and my Master’s degree in Health Care Management at the University of Greifswald.

Since March 2010, I have been working as a Clinical Data Manager at DZNE Rostock/Greifswald. In various health services research studies, I have contributed to the development of data entry software and an intervention management system for the standardized collection and processing of healthcare needs. My daily responsibilities include data entry, data security, and exporting data in various file formats. In my free time, I enjoy being near the water, including for sports activities, and I also love traveling.

Since 2021, I have been working as one of the first state-certified Dementia Care Managers at the DZNE Rostock/Greifswald site. My role involves closely examining patients' living environment and personal circumstances, considering their entire social and healthcare network, and connecting relevant stakeholders from the health and social care system. The goal is to enhance the quality of life for individuals living with dementia while alleviating the burden on their families. Often, patients and their caregivers are unaware of the following steps or support services entitled to them. My background as a registered nurse and care advisor enables me to guide them effectively through this process. The concept of dementia care management is continuously evolving, such as within the InDePendent study („InDePendent“ www.dzne.de/forschung/studien/projekte-der-versorgungsforschung/independent/), where we have expanded our responsibilities beyond nursing to include medical tasks. Additionally, we are evaluating the implementation of this approach in various healthcare settings. Through the DCM:IMPact project („DCM:IMPact“ Link zum Projekt: www.dzne.de/forschung/studien/projekte-der-versorgungsforschung/dcmimpact/), I have gained experience working in diverse environments, including day care centers, medical care centers, and local public health authorities.
