Prof. Alexander Drzezga awarded the Kuhl-Lassen Award 2019
Prof. Alexander Drzezga has received the 2019 Kuhl-Lassen Award of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI). The prize honours Prof. Drzezgas' research in the field of molecular and multimodal imaging in neurodegeneration. The Kuhl-Lassen Award is the highest award of SNMMI's Brain Imaging Council. It is given annually to recognize a scientist who has made outstanding contributions and whose research in the discipline of functional brain imaging is of the highest caliber.
The award recently was conferred at the annual meeting of SNMMI in Anaheim, USA. Alexander Drzezga is Director of the Department of Nuclear Medicine at the University Hospital of Cologne and scientist in Prof. Henning Boecker's group at DZNE.
