Association donates 5000€ for ALS research

With a generous donation of 5000€ the association "ALS-Alle Lieben Schmidt e. V." supports the research of the DZNE in the field of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) of Patrick Weydt. The aim of the association is to promote the health of ALS patients by means of donations, as well as direct support for patients and their families and to provide advice and assistance.

With great financial and personal commitment, Bruno Schmidt, who is affected by the disease himself, has been promoting ALS research and care for many years. At the DZNE, he supports therapy and biomarker research as well as the annual ALS Information Day for patients, relatives, therapists and researchers.
Furthermore, the DZNE running group enthusiastically participates in the annual ALS donation run in Linnich.
